Mexico 1986 FIFA World Cup Unisex Multicolor Track Jacket
The 1986 FIFA World Cup Mexico Jacket pays tribute to one of the most celebrated tournaments in football history. Designed in a vibrant combination of green, red, and off-white, this jacket captures the visual identity associated with Mexico’s sporting heritage. Featuring a zip-front closure, stand-up collar, and rib-knit cuffs, it delivers a classic sportswear silhouette while the bold “Mexico 1986” graphic transforms it into a piece of football memorabilia rather than ordinary outerwear.
The design draws its character from an era when sports apparel embraced bold color blocking and national identity without hesitation. During the 1986 tournament, Mexico became the center of the football world, and the visual culture surrounding the event left a lasting impression on fans for decades. This jacket recreates that unmistakable aesthetic through its striking color arrangement and tournament-inspired graphics. Unlike modern minimalist sportswear, it celebrates a period when team apparel was designed to be instantly recognizable, making it an appealing choice for those who appreciate vintage football fashion and iconic World Cup history.

Absolutely love the vintage vibe of this windbreaker! The color blocking with the green and red is so vibrant in person. I checked the men’s size chart and since my body chest is around 39 inches, I went with a Small. It gives that perfect loose 80s track jacket fit (about 42 inches around the chest) without looking like a tent. Material is super lightweight, perfect for a casual outer layer. 100/10 recommendation!

Bought this as a gift for my husband who is a huge retro football fan. The embroidery on the front ‘MEXICO 1986’ and the big logo on the back look so clean and well done. No loose threads at all. It feels like an actual premium windbreaker fabric, not that cheap thin plastic material you find on fake merch online. Highly recommend it.

The design on the back is incredible, but definitely pay attention to the size chart before ordering. I usually wear a standard US Large, but looking at the men’s chest measurements, I went with a Medium. It’s still quite spacious and roomy around the shoulders, which is great for layering over a hoodie, but if you want a closer fit, definitely size down.

Honestly exceeded my expectations completely. The off-white shade gives it a genuine throwback look rather than a blinding bright white. It has great structure and the zipper slides smoothly without catching on the lining. Wore it to a match screening last night and got tons of compliments from random people.

Super clean jacket, completely odorless right out of the packaging which is a huge plus. The material has a nice crinkle texture that gives it that authentic 1986 vintage windbreaker feel. Looks dope paired with simple black joggers or light wash denim. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Giving it 4 stars only because the shipping tracker didn’t update for three days, so I was worried it wouldn’t arrive before the weekend. The jacket itself is top notch. The colors are crisp and it fits perfectly according to the size chart parameters. Put it through a cold wash inside out and it came out looking brand new with no color bleeding.

My new favorite casual piece. It gives off that perfect thrift-store find aesthetic but without the old clothes smell or stains. It’s light, breathable, and shields nicely against a light breeze. Perfect for throwing on over a plain white tee. Will definitely buy another style from this shop.

Very impressed with the elastic quality on the cuffs and the waist hem. Usually, on these types of retro jackets, the bands are super loose, but these hold their shape perfectly and sit nicely at the wrists. The stitching along the color panels is very straight and neat.

Solid lightweight windbreaker jacket. The classic Mexico 86 logo on the back is the main reason I got it and it does not disappoint. Just a heads up for shorter guys, it sits slightly long at the waist due to the relaxed cut, but once you adjust the elastic waistband it looks perfect.

Bought this for my daughter who loves oversized retro streetwear. Her bust is around 34 inches, so according to the women’s size chart, a Medium would be standard, but we intentionally ordered a Large to get that extra baggy look to wear over crop tops. She hasn’t taken it off all week. Washed it on cold and air-dried it, no shrinkage at all.

The aesthetic is just crazy good. It looks exactly like the high-end heritage pieces brands release for tournament anniversaries. The printing on the back logo is high quality and doesn’t feel like that sticky plastic heat-press that cracks after two weeks. Definitely worth the price.

Excellent construction, premium nylon/polyester blend, and a really clean collar line that stands up properly when zipped. I’m 5’10 and went with the Medium based on my 41″ chest measurement on the chart, and the fit is exactly the kind of relaxed comfort I wanted. Very happy with it.

Super comfortable and great for spring weather, but the sleeves run a bit wide near the upper arms. If you have a slimmer build it leaves quite a bit of extra fabric floating around, so checking the shoulder and sleeve dimensions on the chart is a must. Quality of the fabric itself is lovely though.

I was highly skeptical about buying a retro replica jacket online but this completely changed my mind. The graphic details are embedded beautifully and the color matching to the original 85-86 era kits is spot on. Feels very durable and premium.

Perfect matchday jacket. It’s rugged on the seams but smooth and soft on the skin inside. The zipper pull feels sturdy and the side pockets are deep enough to actually hold a large phone without it sliding out when you sit down.

This jacket is stunning in person. The contrast between the dark green sleeves and the red side panels looks so sharp. It doesn’t look like cheap fast-fashion merchandise at all. It has a genuine weight to it while remaining a true lightweight windbreaker. Highly recommend to any football or style enthusiast.
